Television actress Ankita Lokhande, best known for portraying Archana in Pavitra Rishta alongside the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav, recently visited her childhood home in Indore with her husband, businessman Vicky Jain, and her mother, Vandana Pandis Lokhande. During the visit, she got emotional and broke down in tears while remembering her late father, Shashikant Lokhande, who passed away in 2023 at the age of 68.
As she entered the house, Ankita broke down in tears and hugged her mother, who also became emotional. Expressing her sorrow, she was heard saying in Marathi that if her father were present today, she would have been crying, but sadly, he is not, which is why the tears flowed.
Later, Ankita showed Vicky around her house, talking about her childhood memories and sharing how she had dreamed of so many things while growing up there.

On the work front, Ankita is currently seen in the cooking-based show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment Season 2 alongside her husband, Vicky Jain. The show also features Elvish Yadav, Abdu Rozik, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Mannara Chopra, Sudesh Lehri, Rahul Vaidya, and Rubina Dilaik as participants.
It is hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
Ankita tied the knot to Vicky on December 14, 2021, which was a lavish affair at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. Sharing the pictures from her wedding, the actress wrote: "Love is patient but we're not. Surprise! We're now officially Mr and Mrs Jain."
