According to a report in Times of India, Nadar had joined Tijori to co-produce a thriller movie, 'Tipppsy'.
In his complaint letter, Tijori mentioned that Nadar siphoned off with Rs 2.6 crore on the pretext of using it for shoot location.
Tijori and Nadar had signed the contract for 'Tipppsy' in 2019. The latter then took Rs 2.6 crore from the former, stating that he needed the money to pay for the shoot location in London, and had promised to return the amount.
While the shoot commenced in London in September 2019, Nadar did not eventually complete the project and when Tijori asked to return the money, he gave him cheques which kept bouncing.
Tijori thus filed a case with the Mumbai Police accusing Nadar of cheating, and an investigation has been launched in the matter.
