In Staffordshire, England, four cooling towers at a former power station were demolished in a controlled explosion.

As per an AoI.co.uk report, the 117m (384ft) concrete towers were destroyed using explosives around 11.15 am on Sunday. The site will be redeveloped for housing and employment space.

To witness the controlled destroying, a huge crowd gathered outside the site. In fact, the video of the destruction was also shared on Twitter and it went viral immediately.

The video went viral in no time as many as fascinated by the sight. Several people across the globe are calling the controlled demolition interesting and beautiful. People are also congratulating the engineers who pulled this off.

One Twitter user wrote, "There’s something very fascinating about watching a controlled implosion!"
