Indian politician, Shashi Tharoor who is known for his extremely sharp vocabulary had recently taken to Twitter to post an image to celebrate World Tourism Day by inviting people to his 'native land', Kerala, which is famously known as, 'God's own country'. The post displays a beautiful image of the state celebrating its harvest festival, Onam.
At a first glance, it did not seem like something was wrong, but later netizens pointed out at that calling people to Kerala right when everything was closed due to the 'Bharat Bandh', made no sense. The politician received a few sarcastic replies with regards to this.
Was Shashi not aware about the fact that Kerala is participating in the 'Bharat Bandh' today to show its solidarity for the nationwide farmers' strike calling for the abolition of farm laws? Well, seems like he wasn't, according to Twitter users.
