On Thursday, May 28, 2021, India celebrated the death anniversary of the first Prime Minister of independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The entire day, Indians across the globe took to social media in order to remember and commemorate the legacy of Pandit Nehru. Thousands took to Twitter to remember Pt Nehru by sharing his photographs, quotes, and memories.
Film director Anubhav Sinha also share a picture of the late politician but instead ended up getting trolled on Twitter. Sinha tweeted a picture of Nehru standing with the genius scientist Albert Einstein.
Sinha wrote on Twitter, "You are judged by the company you keep. That’s one of our Prime Ministers hanging with a gentleman called Albert Einstein."
However, this didn't go well with the people who criticize Nehru and believe that his policies caused a lot of harm to the nation. Many commented on and replied to Sinha's tweet and ridiculed him for calling Nehru great indirectly on the basis of the friends that he made.
Many have also compared Nehru with the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
