Ujjain: With 14 more persons testing positive on Friday, the number of patients has reached 1,283, in the district. The death toll is 75.
As per the medical bulletin issued at 8.45 pm, out of 875 sample reports received on the day 14 persons including 9 of Ujjain city were tested Corona positive.
They include a 44-year-old man from Manchaman Nagar, 24-year-old man from Fazalpura Police Lines, 36-year-old woman from Shastri Nagar, 55-year-old woman from Dhancha Bhavan, 36-year-old man from 64 Yogini Magar, Nayapura, 44-year-old man from Raja Royal Colony, Dhancha Bhavan, 58-year-old woman from Tirupati Heights, 52-year-old man from Jaisingpura and 32-year-old man from Indira Nagar (all Ujjain City), 25-year-old man from Balai Mohalla, Unhel, 35-year-old man from Nazarpur, Ghattia and 42-year-old man from village Kherkhedi, Ghattia, 30-year-old man from Adinath Colony, Nagda and 30-year-old man from Mali Bakhal, Mehidpur.
Overall 166 patients, 41 of them symptomatic, are undergoing treatment. Samples of 51, 438 persons have been taken across the district so far and no report is awaited. With 8 more discharged on the day, the total number of discharged persons has gone up to 1042.
