Days after Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey was found dead in a hotel room in Varanasi, a new video has surfaced online in which she can be seen accompanied by a mystery man just hours before her death.
Akanksha was found hanging by the ceiling fan in her hotel room on March 26, and while initial probe has ruled it as a suicide, the cops have launched a detailed investigation into her death.
A few days ago, cops had stated that an unidentified man had spent around 17 minutes with Akanksha in her hotel room on the night she claimed her life.
CCTV footage shows Akanksha with mystery man
Akanksha was staying at a hotel in Varanasi for the shoot of her film 'Laik Hoon Main Nalaik Nahin'.
On the night of Akanksha's demise, a man, who is yet to be identified, had dropped the actress to her hotel and had spent around 17 minutes with her in her room, the police investigation revealed.
A new CCTV footage from outside Akanksha's room has now surfaced online in which she can be seen coming upstairs and scrambling for keys inside her bag outside her hotel room. She can be seen accompanied by a man, but his face is not clear enough in the footage.
The two can then be seen entering the room together with the man carrying Akanksha's bag.
The cops are yet to ascertain the identity of the mystery man and further investigation is underway.
About Akanksha Dubey's suicide
Post Akanksha's demise, her mother filed a case against her boyfriend Samar Singh and his brother Sanjay Singh, accusing them of harassing her.
In her police complaint, Akanksha's mother claimed that Samar Singh used to hit her daughter and that his brother had threatened to kill her.
Meanwhile, the Singh brothers have been absconding since Akanksha's death and cops are conducting raids at various places to get hold of them.
