Ratlam: Motivators have managed to change the attitude of people towards anti-Covid-19 vaccination but people are now complaining that what is the point in such hype around vaccination when the stock of vaccines is getting exhausted.
As per reports people in Harthal village in Raoti were disappointed as the jabs went out of the stock at the vaccination centres.
Vaccination Maha Abhiyan commenced in the district on June 21 and after the gap of one day Mahaabhiyan resumed again on June 23. Administration claimed Bajna and Raoti achived target for the Wednesday by 1 PM.
A total of 655 people were jabbed in 10 centres of the Bajna, 600 were vaccinated in 7 centres of Raoti.
On day-1 of the Maha Abhiyan, Bajna and Raoti achieved only 53% of the target.
But this scenario on Wednesday the turnout was so high that the stock of the vaccination centers ended by 1 PM.
Under the Maha abhiyan a target of 10 thousand doses each has been fixed for vaccination in Bajna and Sailana.
Expert said that in view of the enthusiasm shown by the tribals, the target and availability of doses will have to be increased.
Meanwhile, collector Kumar Purushottam today appointed deputy collector Manisha Vaskale as vaccination incharge for Bajna tribal belt.
NO VACCNATION; NO SALARY
District Collector Kumar Purushottam has directed that Salary for the month will not be released if all officials and employees of particular department were not vaccinated. In a review meeting on Tuesday, collector Kumar Purushottam directed that for releasing salary, a certificate of DDO will have to be produced about cent per cent vaccination all employees.
NO VACCINTION; NO PERMISSION FOR WEDDING
Collector Kumar Purushottam in a review meet also directed the SDMís of the district to not give permission for holding wedding, unless all the attendees were vaccinated. Now SDMs will have to verify the vaccination status of persons listed as the participants in the wedding.
