Mhow: Panic spread in the area after the fragmented body of a youth was found near Awlay village on the Agra-Bombay National Highway on Sunday morning. The body could have been thrown there during the late night hours, but it was spotted by passersby in the first light of Sunday.

Badgonda police station-in-charge Mohan Malviya told Free Press, “Upon getting information, a police team was sent to the spot, following which a forensic team also reached there to inspect the body. As of now, the deceased hasn’t yet identified, due to which all nearby police stations have been informed to match the details of the body with those of missing persons’ complaints filed at those police stations.”

“According to an eyewitness, the man was walking on the roadside when a truck coming from the direction of Indore rammed into him and dragged him for about 20 metres. As a result of this, the body was fragmented into two parts and badly damaged,” Malviya said.
