Madhya Pradesh: Dhar district Congress stages a sit-in in front of petrol pumps

Dhar: On the call of All India Congress Committee and State Congress, in the leadership of district Congress president and former MLA Balmukund Singh Gautam on Friday, protested against the hike in petrol prices in front of the Modi Petrol Pump located in Ghoda Chowpatty.

District Congress president Gautam, alleged that on one hand people have become economically weak due to the pandemic and on the other hand Modi government is increasing the price of petrol, diesel and LPG and troubling people further. ìPetrol is above Rs 100 per litre, diesel is nearing Rs 100 and domestic gas is around Rs 1000, due to which people are finding it difficult to make both ends meet. Due to inflation each and every section of the society is feeling harassed,î he alleged.

In the protest, Madhya Pradesh minority department state Congress president Mujeeb Qureshi, City Congress president Jasbir Singh Toni Chhabra, Rajesh Singh Patel, Prem Lavvanshi and other Congress leaders were present.
