Actress Nupur Sanon, the sister of Kriti Sanon, was brutally trolled and criticised online after netizens discovered her brand 'Label Nobo' and the exorbitant rates of apparel on its website. Some wondered if it was a scheme to scam people, while others called the price tags "ridiculous".
Netizens shared screenshots on Reddit in which asymmetrical dress can be seen priced at Rs 10,900, while a maxi dress was being sold for Rs 10,700. It also had mini dresses, jumpsuits and rompers being sold for anywhere between Rs 9,000 to Rs 12,000, and instead of impressing, the collection only left fashion enthusiasts fuming.
"The ridiculous price points of Nupur Sanon's clothing line called Label Nobo. Doesn't explain why such basic cloths are sold and such high price points. Is it money laundering of some sort (scamming buyers)? (sic)," a netizen asked on Reddit.
Another user commented, "These are the ugliest clothes I’ve ever seen, good lord (sic)," while a netizen wrote, "I think her brand name is incomplete cause she clearly forgot to write Label NoboDY IS BUYING THIS OVERPRICED FAST FASHION SHIT FROM ME (sic)."
On the work front, Nupur first appeared in the music video, Filhall, in 2019, opposite Akshay Kumar. The B Praak track was a hit in the market, and post that, she was also a part of Filhaal 2: Mohabbat in 2021, also co-starring Akshay Kumar.
In 2023, Nupur played one of the female leads in Tiger Nageswara Rao. She also has the film, Noorani Chehra, stuck in the pipeline. It was supposed to be her Hindi debut film.
