The registration process for the IIT JAM 2024 (Joint Admission Test) closes tomorrow, October 25, 2023. The Indian Institute of Technology- Madras had earlier extended the registration deadline for candidates to October 25th from October 20th. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for IIT JAM through the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitm.ac.in.
Eligibility criteria for JAM 2024:
Candidates must have a graduation degree.
General and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates should have a minimum of 55% aggregate or 5.5 out of 10 CGPA or CPI in aggregate without rounding off.
SC, ST and PwD category candidates should have scored at least 50% or 5.0 out of 10 in their graduation.
Application fee for JAM 2024:
For Female/ SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates:
For one paper the application fees is: ₹900
For two papers: ₹1250
For others
The application fees is ₹1800/- for one paper and ₹2500/- for two papers.
Fee for Changing Examination Cities /Test Papers /Category /Gender is ₹300 apart from the applicable difference in Application fee.
Guidelines
According to the guidelines set by the IIT Madras, candidate can submit only one application form even if the candidate wants to appear for two Test Papers.
Multiple applications submitted by a candidate are liable for rejection.
The admit card for JAM 2024 will be uploaded on the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in, on January 8, 2024.
The exam will be held on February 11, 2024. Meanwhile the result for the same will be out on March 22, 2024.

Visit the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitm.ac.in.
Click on IIT JAM 2024 registration link available on the home page.
Enter the registration details and login.
Fill the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Make the payment of application fees and click on submit.
Once done, download the page.
Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
