Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal recently said that his actress-wife Katrina Kaif, along with Amitabh Bachchan, is one of the faces that represent Hindi cinema on the international platform.
In an interview with Navbharat Times, the Masaan actor said, "I always say that an industry is known by a few faces. With her work, Katrina has become one of those faces, along with Amitabh Bachchan, who represent the industry on the international platform. Hema Malini used to be one of these faces."
"Katrina has achieved that status and I believe it is not easy to reach there. I believe, whatever she has done and achieved, she did it all on her own. I respect her a lot for that, and I have a long way to go before I reach there. I feel it is good that we respect each other, and also have a lot to learn from each other," Vicky added.
Katrina and Vicky recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary together in Ooty, where Vicky was shooting for his much-awaited film Sam Bahadur.
Vicky and Katrina's love story
Katrina is a true diva and Vicky is no less a dapper. They dated each other for some time before tying the knot last year.
Talking about his post-marriage life, Vicky recently said in an interview, "Changed I feel is a very strong word to use very easily. It’s not changed, I would say life has evolved, life is better. Sukoon hai, shanti hai. It’s nice, it’s really nice."
Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in a grand ceremony on December 9, 2021, in the presence of their close friends and families. Prior to their wedding, the two had never made their relationship official and had always remained tightlipped about their love.
Upcoming projects
On the work front, Vicky will be seen in Govinda Naam Mera, Sam Bahadur and in a yet-untitled film with Sara Ali Khan.
On the other hand, Katrina has Merry Christmas, Jee Le Zaraa and Tiger 3 in her kitty.
