Availing snacks at cinema halls can be an expensive affair. When a theatre announced offering unlimited popcorn, people walked in with large containers to collect as much popcorn as they could. The incident took place in Saudi Arabia's VOX Cinemas where people stood in long queues with their cooking pots and storage drums to fill popcorn for a nominal charge.
The movie theatre offered people unlimited popcorn for just 30 riyals (Rs. 700).

A news portal 'Dialogue Pakistan' reported the incident online and wrote, "People in Saudi Arabia took full advantage of a cinema’s offer of unlimited popcorn for just 30 Riyals".
While the video has gone viral, the exact location in Saudi Arabia where the incident took place is unknown. It is believed to be a recent video that is doing the rounds across social media platforms.
Cinemas were banned in Saudi Arabia for years together over religious and cultural beliefs. However, a 35-year-old ban was removed in 2018, allowing people to visit theatres and enjoy films for entertainment.
