Drashti Dhami, who is a well-known face of television industry, and has been part of many popular shows, recently quit her on going show, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. It seems that luck is definitely not in favor of Drashti, as even her last show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil which aired on Star Plus was a huge disappointment and was shut down early because of low TRPs. Something similar has happened with this show.
Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka is a story about two childhood friends Nandini (Drashti) and Mauli (Aditi Sharma) who get separated and, after seven years, they met. Later, Nandini falls in love with Kunal (Shakti Arora), Mauli’s husband. The story further moves with the track on extra marital affair. It was this track which made the audience irk over how Kunal can cheat his loving wife Mauli and how come Nandini can be so selfish in love that she can break her best friend’s marriage.
Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, started on a good note, with decent TRPs and fans praising the show. But, as soon as the track of Kunal and Nandini’s (Drashti) love affair was introduced, the show started degrading in terms of TRP, even the fans of the show slammed Drashti so much on social media that her co- actor Aditi Sharma has to intervene, saying it’s just a show and one cannot slam Drashti personally just for playing a character.
Soon, news of show going off air in November made rounds which was refuted by the actors. However, Drashti’s exit from the show, could hint that the show may indeed going off air soon. The actress took to Instagram and herself confirmed the news with an emotional post. She wrote, “And this journey of Nandini on “Silsila” come to an end today….
It’s been short but one helluva of a journey…..
I still remember the outdoor shoot in Goa like it happened yesterday to working with new co stars who are my friends today…actually very very good friends & to the sheer hard work I put in to bring “Nandini” to life on screen…
It’s actually been a roller coaster rides which has been bumpy, but been a huge learning for me both as an actor as well as a person…
I do want to thank my producers [this is my 2nd show with them] the channel, my co actors/colleague on this show and everyone associated with this show & to my fans who have been so so supportive….

Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka will be apparently replaced by Tantra, which is based on black magic and is being produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Swastik Productions.
