Ujjain : Two days long workshop on ‘Climate change’ was kicked off at Savyasachi Vidyapeeth School on Tuesday.
Inaugural ceremony was graced by assistant director of Press Information Bureau, Madhukar Pawar, chairman of Simhastha Fair Authority Diwakar Natu and the dean of Student Welfare Department of Vikram University Rakesh Dhand and sponsor of the function Rajendra Singh who were also chief guests on the occasion. Guests were welcomed by the principal of the Institution, Saikat Chanda.
On the first day various competitions including painting, speech, skit and extempore were held based on the topic ‘Climate change’ and environmental issues. In the competitions Sheikh Yameen, Vishakha Bhadoriya and Mohit Tripathi played the role of judges. Several students of St Paul School, Nirmala Convent School, and Model Higher Secondary School and of other schools participated in the competitions. Prizes will be distributed to the winners on Wednesday.
