Ujjain : Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) on Monday removed encroachment of under construction shopping complex from the park at Sneh Nagar near Muni Nagar pond. Ganesh Housing Society had occupied the land and had sold it to a builder. Builder was building a shopping complex on the land.
Local corporator Vijay Singh Darbar told that Ganesh Housing Society had encroached the land of the park located at Sneh Nagar. The land was sold to a builder who was building a G+3 shopping complex on it. UMC gang razed the boundary wall built on the land of the park. Darbar also told that the whole encroachment would be removed soon. The builder had also occupied a DP and a hand pump inside the boundary wall. Residents had filed a complaint against the entire matter.
