Ujjain: A 10-day annual camp of 2 arty battery NCC unit began from Wednesday at Police Training School under the aegis of Indore Group NCC headquarters.
About 550 NCC cadets from government and non-government schools and colleges of Ujjain, Ratlam, Neemuch, Indore, Mhow and Khandwa districts will participate in the joint annual camp. During the camp, selection of team for inter-group shooting competition will be organised in Jabalpur and for army camp will also be held.
On Thursday rehearsal of physical training, yoga, obstacle course, weapon handling, firing and drill were done. Administering an oath to the participants, camp commandant Col Sudhir Singh said that the cadets are the prime connecting links of nation and society. He said that such type of camps help in shaping a better civilian. Col RK Dahiya and Malkhan Singh were also present.
