Ujjain: A woman allegedly was burnt by his husband in village Hamukhedi on Thursday night over some petty feud.
According to Nagziri police, Sarala wife of Santosh Yadav was burnt by her husband after she returned from her parental residence to her husband’s residence.
The neighbors noticed the incident when she came out from her residence in blazing condition. The woman was rushed to hospital immediately where she died during the treatment. Before her death, she gave a statement to the police stating that the husband poured kerosene on her and burned her over some feud.
According to police an FIR was registered against the deceased’s husband Santosh Yadav under Section 307 of the IPC but as the victim has died so now Section 302 of the IPC will also be invoked. The manhunt to nab the accused has been launched.
