Ujjain : Seven days long 13th symposium in the memory of Padma Bhushan Shiv Mangal Singh ‘Suman’ will kick off at Bhartiya Gyanpeeth College from Saturday evening. This is birth centenary year of ‘Suman ji’ and will be specially commemorated by the series of lectures. Krishnamangal Singh Kulshreshtha gave this information during a press conference on Friday.
In week long symposium several renowned intellectuals, subject experts, social worker, educationist, legal experts, social workers, saints will keep their vision on variety of subjects. On the occasion distinguished Bhajan singer, Pandit Avdhendu Sharma will present the selected songs composed by ‘Suman ji.’
On the inaugural day national Jain seer Kamal Muni will throw light on the life of Mahatma Gandhi and on the path of non violence shown by him. Son of the former Prime Minister Lal Bhadur Shastri, Sunil Shastri, assistant professor of Pondicherry University C Jayshankar Babu, famous penman of Bihar Hemant Kumar, president of Rajasthan Cricket Board Ameen Pathan and famous author Saroj Kumar will give lectures on several topics on the following days. On the concluding day Rajya Sabha member Chaudhari Munnavar Salim will give lecture on the need of harmony thoughts for holistic development of the country.
