Ujjain : Prasad unit of the Kothar (storage) of Mahakal Temple which was scheduled to be shifted till November 30 at newly constructed building at Chintaman Jawasiya village has been delayed for a week.
Temple administrator, RP Tiwari along with other administrative officials of temple committee inspected the facility on Thursday and found still construction has not been completed and gave a week time to the contractor to complete the work. Prasad unit is to be transferred at new building being made at the 3.25 hectare land in Chintaman Jawasiya village. Presently three units are functioning in the Kothar, due to limited space available for making Ladoo Prasad temple committee has taken decision to shift the unit in the new building. In the new building of temple committee Go Shaala, Vaidik Shodh Sansthaan and Prasad unit will function.
