Ujjain : Social worker Jiyalal Sharma wrote to United Nations General Secretary Ban Ki- moon requesting him to urge all nations to end up the defense budget and to spend the amount in eradication of poverty from the world.
Sharma also objected war and any kind of violence between two or more nations.
The war causes destruction from all aspects of life. Children become orphan and women go widow. Ban Kimoon was requested by Sharma to make a policy to secure the borders of all the nations under United Nations’ vigilance. The letter will be conveyed to UN on behalf of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister of India.
