Ujjain : During Three days function of International Senior Citizen Day, students of Lokmanya Vidhya Niketan of Indore interacted with aged residents of Sewadham and remembered Mahatma Gandhi on Friday (October2).
Around 125 students interacted with residents and old aged residents shared their life experience with them. Students also inspected the Aashram campus and gave outstanding performances in the cultural event. Leprosy patients of Kusthdham, Hamukhedi recited prayers and remembered Mahatma Gandhi. On the occasion president of Lok Manya Vidhya Niketan Chandrakant Joshi, vice president Digambar Kapse, founder of Sewa Dham Aashram Sudhir Bhai Goyal and others were present.
Similarly, Lions Club International launched countrywide ‘Service Week’ from October 2 to October 8 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. In the series Lions Club Gold of the city launched service week under the leadership of Club president Julekha Husain.
