Ujjain : The Neelganga police have claimed to crack a theft case, where 80 grams of gold was stolen from a house located at Subhash Nagar. A minor has been found to be the accused in the theft case, who was arrested by the police.
The theft had ooccurred at the house of one Kripa Dhurve, resident of Subhash Nagar colony. The thief had stolen around 80 grams of gold from the almirah of the owner on Novmeber 14. The theft was revealed when the almirah locker was opened on Dhanteras. The police was informed and a case was registered. The police in their investigation got suspicious over one Lokesh, who was working in the renovation works of Dhurve’s house.
During interrogation Lokesh told police that he had used his minor son to steal the jewelry from the almirah and sold it to one Gulshan, resident of Hiramil Ki Chawl. The police arrested the father son duo, the son will be sent to juvenile home after court hearing. The police have recovered gold worth Rs 2 lakhs from the possession of Lokesh.
