Ujjain : Madhav Nagar police has demystified the theft of gold jewellery worth Rs 3 lakh and has arrested the accused. Police have arrested an engineer Amit Singh relative of the plaintiff in the case and also recovered the stolen jewellery.
Accused had burgled the home of his Uncle Bhawar Singh Rajput resident of Forest Colony, Udyan Marg on July 25 and had stolen gold jewellery including Mangalsutra, chain, tops and other items. Accused also took the loan of Rs 39,000 by mortgaging few gold items from Manapuram Gold Loan and took loan of Rs 6,000 from an another company. Madhav Nagar TI, MS Parmar informed that accused was in urgent need of money so he has stolen gold jewellery from his uncle’s home and we are interrogating the accused in police custody.
