Ujjain : President of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Arun Yadav visited city on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and after paying tribute to the idol of Indira Gandhi, Priyadarshani Square he kicked off second phase of his Jan Vishwas Pad Yatra from Mahidpur on Saturday.
In his short visit to the city Yadav said that Chief Minister (CM) Shivraj Singh Chauhan is the son of the farmer who roams in helicopter. Yadav alleged that Three days before CM had sent team of officials for conducting survey of ruined crops. He questioned intentions of CM and said that now farmers have started sowing seeds of new crops in such kind of circumstances is he conducting survey of water and air in the farms. He also reminded CM about his protest which he had staged at the time of UPA government for the compensation of farmers and suggested CM that he should now go to New Delhi for staging demonstration for benefit of farmers like he had did at the time of UPA’s regime.
Yadav also paid obeisance to Lord Mahakal and then kicked off his Yatra in the presence of former MP Sajjan Singh Verma, Subhash Sajotiya, president of District Congress Committee Anant Narain Meena, former MLA Ramlal Malviya, secretary of PCC Chetan Yadav and others from Mahidpur.
