Ujjain : Pollution Control Board (PCB) will go for online water monitoring at four spots during Simhastha. PCB will online monitor over the quality of water of Kshipra river from April 1 to May 31. Board has planned to setup water quality monitoring stations at Triveni, Lalpul, Ramghat and Mangalnath and will spend Rs 65 lakh on the online water monitoring. The result of water quality monitoring will be received by PCB lab online and they will be displayed as well. PCB will do the detailed testing of water at prime bathe spots of the river. The tests consist of PH value, biological oxygen demand, dissolved oxygen, total colliform organism, colour, smell, hardness of calcium and magnesium, nitrate, sulfate and chromium hexavalent.
