Ujjain : Additional collector Pawan Jain was finally shunted out from here in the wake of opening a file involving illegal occupation of a government land by School Education Minister Paras Jain and his family members.
The State government, which issued the transfer list of deputy-collectors on November 1, mentioned ‘administrative’ reason for the transfer of Pawan Jain. He has been transferred to Betual in the same capacity. He was probing a land dispute against the minister and was to deliver order. City Magistrate and Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee Administrator Jayant Joshi (joint-collector) has been transferred to Khandwa. Likewise, another joint-collector Mala Shrivastava has been transferred to Khandwa. Joint-Collector, Harda, Anil Patwa has been transferred to Ujjain. He had worked in various capacities here for several years. It is learnt that Patwa has been brought back here in view of preparations for the Simhastha Fair-2016. He is likely to be given charge of Jayant Joshi.
Joint-Collector Vivek Kshotriya has been transferred to Gwalior. He was waiting for the new posting as he was relieved from the post of Ujjain Municipal Corporation Commissioner in August. Khandwa Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shobharam Solanki has been posted as deputy-collector, Ujjain. Deputy-collector and Ujjain SDM Shailendra Singh Solanki has been transferred to Dhar. Deputy-collector, Guna, Abhishek Dubey has been transferred to here. RP Gehlot, deputy-commissioner (revenue) Sagar division, has been made deputy-commissioner, land records, Ujjain. He had also worked here in various capacities. Deputy-collector, Dewas, Anjali Joseph, who was made deputy-commissioner, Ujjain Municipal Corporation will continue to work at Dewas alone. Her transfer order has been cancelled.
