Ujjain : The Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaram Company Ltd (MPPKVVCL) has got its hand back on the electricity supply of the city and the private franchise Essel is nowhere to be seen during the tough times.
A senior official of MPPKVVCL said the company has successfully restored the electricity supply in almost all areas of the city and remaining areas will be light up within a day or two.
Nine engineers from the company have been called back to the duty and have been appointed at Khedapati, Vallabh Nagar, Nai Sadak, Chhatri Chowk, Maksi Road, Kiosk, Mahashweta and Mahananda zones of the city.
Every engineer has been given a staff of 10 persons to help restore the supply. The official informed that the high voltage supply line, which supplies the old city was damaged in the flash flood and now had been repaired, till the repair works were underway a supplementary line was used to continue the supply in the Mahakaleshwar temple. The company is also rectifying the complaints received at the zonal offices.
