Mela offices move forward in IT

Ujjain: The Simhastha mela office has moved forward in using IT to ease the mela management. Now the land allotment papers being issued to the sadhu-saints by the mela office are having QR code on them. These QR code engraved allotment papers can be easily scanned using any device for legitimacy. Mela officer Avinash Lavania said that these newly designed papers are unique and are first of a kind for Simhastha mela. Further, these cannot be copied and can be checked on the spot. Now the mela office will use the same on the identity cards of the staff and aids for the Simhastha mela.
