Ujjain : Acharya of Mahanirvani Akhara Vishokananda Bharti performed Bhoomi Poojan for his camp to be named as Govind Mutt Ashram on Barnagar road here on Friday. The seer said this Simhastha the only purpose is to serve the humanity and render service to them.
Maha Mandleshwar Swami Pranavananda, Avadhesh Puri and many others were present. The pontiff after completing the ceremony expressed dissatisfaction over delay in development works of the Simhastha mela. He said the bhoomi poojan was performed so that the officers and staff can take cognizance over installing of toilets, water lines and electricity in the camp area.
Putting a sarcastic comment he said the public used to shame Congress government because of Digvijay Singh’s doing but the present government boasts itself as ‘Santo Ki Sarkar’, then why the Saints are feeling ashamed because of the government.
