Collector and District Magistrate Administration of Dadra & Nagar- Haveli Sanjay Goel has demanded immediate lifting of the ban on plying heavy vehicles on the Vapi- Silvassa road through Dadra in view of the major traff
ic problem being faced by the Union Territory ( UT) due to the pathetic condition of roads connecting this UT with the rest of India and the said road stretches are falling within the Gujarat jurisdiction.
Goel has also requested that the R& B division of Valsad be directed to take up the work of upgradation and four lanning on both the stretches of road ( including the construction of a parallel bridge adjacent to Darotha bridge) at a faster pace.
