Ujjain : In the stabbing case at a ‘Matki Fod’ function at Mohan Nagar, the Chimanganj Mandi police paraded the accused along with the victim Raju Mali and thrashed them hardly in full public view on Monday.
Mohan Nagar Residents Committee had organised a ‘Matki Fod’ competition on the occasion of Janmashtami at Mohan Nagar square. In the competition accused Kala Bundela was trying break Matki with the help of Knife. In his attempt to break Matki, he fell down and mistakenly 3-4 people got injured by his knife.
Victim Raju Mali was also present at the spot at the time of incident. Chimanganj Mandi police picked victim from his house for interrogation in morning and then paraded him along with accused Bundela. According to the victim, police brutally thrashed him in full public view at Mohan Nagar Square. Victim Raju Mali said, “Police beaten me without any my involvement in the case and treated me like a criminal.” The main accused Kala Bundela is a habitual offender and many cases are registered against him in different police stations of the city.
