Indebted man consumes poison, dies

Ujjain: A man allegedly under stress of the debt he had taken, consumed poison in his residence located on the Archana Complex, near Indore Road on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Mukesh Prajapat (34), who died of poisoning at the Civil Hospital. He had approached his wife Sandhya, after consuming poison and told her about the step he had taken. The family immediately rushed him to the Civil Hospital, where he succumbed to the poison. The family told that Mukesh was reeling under stress from the debtors which was compounded by the pressure of 3 children, by whom is has now survived. He was unemployed for past years after his brick kiln was razed by the administration. Since then he was doing labour at daily basis. Kumhar community also reached the hospital and consoled the family. They said Kumhars are facing worse days after the brick kilns have been, razed and now the issue will be raised up in front of the administration. The Nanakheda police have registered a case in this regard.
