Hindi Diwas being celebrated on English calendar date!

Ujjain : The famed Hindi Diwas is being celebrated on the dates of English Calendar. The anomaly was pointed by veteran astrologer Anand Shankar Vyas. Pt Vyas said, the first official date of the Hindi Diwas was September 14, 1949 and the Hindu calendar tithi was ‘Ashwin Krishna Saptami’. He said that for past years the event is always organised on September 14 while, but the organizers forgot the importance of Hindu calendar and date on which the day was celebrated. If the government is trying to promote Hindi and are organizing a conclave, how could they forget its essence?
