Head Constable caught while taking bribe

Ujjain : Ujjain Lok Ayukta has trapped Head Constable of Raghavi Police Uday Singh Panwar while accepting the bribe of Rs 2000 from Ramchandra Verma at Raghwi Police Station on Friday. Accused has demanded bribe of Rs 4000 from complainant Verma for dropping the case which was filed against him by Dilip resident of village Kalla Pipliya on Oct 5 under Section 322,323,294 and 506 of IPC. TI Prashant Mukadam of Lokayukta Police informed that Rs 2000 has also been recovered from the accused which was given him by Complainant as the first installment of bribe on Thursday. Lokayukta Police have registered the case under section 7, 13-1-D and 13-2-D of Lokayukt Police Act 1988. TI Mukadam, TI Rohit Yadav, KL Kethwas, Head Constable Jadaun Singh, Constable Sandeep Kadam and Constable Vishal Reshmia conducted the raid.
