Ujjain : A Barnagar based farmed has alleged fraud charges against State Bank Of India (SBI), saying the jewelry he had kept in bank as loan security have been changed and the jewelry bank returned to him his fake.
Jitendra Singh Solanki, a resident of Udsinga village under Barnagar tehsil had taken out a loan of Rs 1.2 lakhs from the local SBI branch, and as loan security, he had deposited four ornaments including a chain, ring, armband and Patli to the bank. Solanki on May 5, 2015 deposited the amount with interest to the bank, afterwards the bank officials returned him the jewelry items, which Solanki took to his home. Next day Solanki came to the bank alleging the jewelry items he had been handed are fake. Over which the bank refused the charges, saying the day ornaments were returned, Solanki had okayed them now is alleging fraud charges. The Barnagar police are investigating the case.
