Ujjain : A grand procession accompanied by royal Eravat elephant was taken out to mark Janma Kalyanak Mahotsava in the city on Tuesday. Abhishek of Tirthankar Balak was performed with 1008 urns.
Addressing on this occasion Seer Vishuddhasagar said one who needs money serves the king. Devotees worship the deity only because they want to be like God. One should not feel lucky if he has wealth, but they should feel themselves fortunate by their religion. Religion is everything and it cannot be obtained by wealth. Muni was addressing community people at Chandra Prabhu Mandir during Panch Kalyanak Mahotsava at Bhairavgarh.
Janma Kalyanak Mahotsava was celebrated on Tuesday. Balak Surya rode royal Erawat elephant during the procession began from Ayodhya Nagri at Gumandev. Procession concluded at Pandhu Shila where abhishek of Tirthankar Balak was performed by 1008 urns. Media in-charge Sunil Jain informed that Tap Kalyanak ritual will be organized at 5.30 am. Seer’s discourse will be held at 9 am, Vivah Prasang at 10 am and other rituals will be organized. Cultural programmes will be held in the night.
