Ujjain : District Magistrate (DM) Kavindra Kiyawat inspected the route of Mahakaleshwar royal and other palanquin processions taken out in the holy month of Shravan, here on Thursday.
SP MS Verma and Municipal Commissioner Avinash Lavania were present at the inspection. Kiyawat also inspected the arrangements made for devotees visiting Mahakaleshwar and Naagchandreshwar Temple on Shravan Somvar and Naag-Panchami.
He also inspected the routes fixed for the general and VIP devotees. Collector also noticed that encroachment has prevailed at the parking lot located outside the temple. He directed concerned officials for removing the encroachment in 3-4 days. He also directed to make twisted route convenient in the temple.
