Ujjain : Co-curricular activities marked the physics exhibition on Friday, which is jointly organized by Vikram University (VU) and Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT).
Essay writing, drawing, and quiz competition were organised on the occasion where hundreds of students participated. The essay topics were based on the theme of, ‘Contribution of India in light and particle science’ and research contribution of Indore RRCAT in accelerator and particle field. The competitions were organised by the scientist of RRCAT, where 150 students participated and 20 students were given away prizes on the spot.
The drawing competition organised received around 75 entries, which will be judged later at Indore, for which the prizes will be declared later. Students from schools including Oxford Junior College, Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Christ Jyoti School, Kshirsagar Government Girls School and Bharatiya Gyanpith School. RRCAT scientist Apollo Kasliwal, Vishnu Gautam, Gautam Kamath, Sanjay Chaukse, Ravindram Ram and Shiv Reddy were present.
