Ujjain : Commissioner of Municipal Corporation (CMC) Avinash Lavania on Thursday chaired a review meeting of TL, PHE and Simhastha development works. All the Simhastha development works carried out by Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) should be completed in time. He directed concerned officials to make immediate passage for the water logged in residential localities.
While reviewing the TL, CMC Lavania directed officials to assess the situation of water logging in different wards and appropriate passage should be created to discharge the logged water. He also directed to ensure perennial supply of power in localities by redressing the citizens’ problem. A report should be prepared on the necessity of parking lots and multilevel parking venues and the proposal of the estimate should be presented. Reviewing the Simhastha development works, Lavania reviewed the works being carried out at Kshir Sagar and Purshottam Sagar. He directed concerned officials to accomplish the works after making a report on the shortcomings in the development works. Lavania also reviewed the works to be carried out at the Pandals of seers and saints during the Simhastha days by UMC. All the works should be completed within the deadline. In case of additional approval of any works, officials should present a report for the same.
