Ujjain : White coloured car which killed an elderly couple on Tuesday morning at Bima Square was confiscated by police on late Thursday from charitable hospital campus.
Investigation officer Vikram Singh informed Free Press that car (RJ 09 CA 6259) has been confiscated after our sources informed that car which killed the couple is parked in the campus of charitable hospital. Soon our team will go to Rajasthan to arrest the owner of the car after Road Transport of Office (RTO) of Rajsthan will provide us the detail of its owner, he added. Vijay Jain (55) and Chandanbala Jain (52) were crushed to death by the speeding car at Bima Square after they were returning from Jain temple in early morning of Tuesday. Chimanganj police had registered the FIR against the unknown driver under Section 304-A of IPC in the matter.
