Ujjain : BJP member Vivek Joshi was nominated as head of the membership drive to be carried out under at a meeting held at the Lok Shakti Bhawan here on Thursday.
City BJP president Iqal Singh Gandhi presided over the meeting. It was decided that a team of BJP workers at the village and ward-level in the Ujjain region would enroll around 150,000 new members. The newly nominated membership drive head said all party workers would be taken into confidence in achieving the set target of the membership drive. To get membership of the party, they would make a missed call on a given phone number and in response, the caller would receive the membership identity number. Vijay Agrawal has been appointed as in-charge of Ujjain East constituency and Amit Shrivastava has been appointed as in-charge of Ujjain South constituency, while Mukesh Tatwal has been appointed as in-charge of divisional workshop which will be held on December 18.
