Ujjain : District in-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh reviewed the zone-wise preparations done at all the zones of Simhastha Fair area during a meeting at Simhastha Fair Office on Monday. He instructed all senior officials to augment the machineries to ensure appropriate arrangements at zonal offices.
The preparations for Simhastha Mahakumbh on war foot by the administration. All working departments are busy in giving final touch to the requisite preparations to hold the grand religious congregation. Minister told senior officials to have a sincere approach to do all the works related to Simhastha. PWD officials were told to add up the machineries to finish off the projects. Directives were issued to manage JCB and Grater machines at the zonal office to ensure leveling work. He reprimanded ground level staff to consider all the works and act accordingly. The complaints being registered by saints should be addressed promptly. Zonal officers should ensure their reporting at the zonal offices. Minister would visit each zonal office on Tuesday.
Minister Singh also directed PHE officials to call the required number of water tanks and to install them at the fair area. He asked to call 50 percent of tanks by the next week. He also ordered to setup 50 tanks at Mangalnath zone. UMC officials were directed to sprinkle chemicals by fogging machine in the fair area to prevent from mosquito bites.
Minister asked PHE officials to manage water supply in all the units of toilets setup at the zones. Tap connections should be joined rapidly to ensure water supply. Joint Director Health Services was told to manage ambulance at each zone. Each zone must have an ambulance with a doctor. CSFOC Chairman Makhan Singh, Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Pastor, ADG V Madhukumar, Collector Kavindra Kiyawat, DIG Rakesh Gupta, SP MS Verma, Fair Officer Avinash Lavania were present.
