Ujjain : Leaders and functionaries of BJP felicitated newly appointed chairman of Ujjain Development Authority (UDA), Jagdish Agrawal and chairman of the MP Employees Welfare Committee, Ramesh Chandra Sharma at Lokshakti office on Tuesday. However, absence of MP Chintamani Malviya, MLA Mohan Yadav and School Education Minister Paras Jain from the function drew everybody’s attention.
Delighted over his appointment Jagdish Agrawal said, “Successful organisation of Simahstha Fair-2016 will be my top priority.” He gave credit of his appointment to the dedicated party workers. While addressing to the party workers present, he further added, “Party always give rewards to the dedicated workers so keep the hard work on as your hard work will never go in vain.”
He thanked the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan for his appointment. Elated Ramesh Sharma said, “I will work diligently for the welfare of all the State government employees.”
All the eyeballs were turned towards the party vice-president Sheel Lashkari when he first garlanded the Simhastha Fair Authority chairman Diwakar Natu ignoring Jagdish Agrawal, who was sitting near Natu. However, BJP City chief Iqbal Singh Gandhi, who was presiding over the function, quickly tried to manage the situation and again called the name of Lashkari for garlanding Agrawal. Newly elected Mayor Meena Jonwal, party leaders Anil Jain Kaluheda, Ashok Prajapat, Kishor Khandelwal, corporators and hundreds of party workers were present in the function.
