Actor Sacchin Shrof, who plays the role of Taarak Mehta in the sitcom Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is all set to tie the knot once again. The 43-year-old actor was previously married to 'Kumkum' actress Juhi Parmar.
According to reports, Sacchin will tie the knot with his sister's longtime friend. The families have known each other for a while and a report in ETimes stated that the bride-to-be isn’t from the entertainment industry. She is a part-time event organiser and interior designer.
A source informed the news portal that it is an arranged marriage and the wedding will take place on February 25. Also, the girl's identity has been a fiercely guarded secret. The family is a bit superstitious and wants everything to happen peacefully.
Sacchin's previous marriage with Juhi
Sachin and Juhi reportedly met on the sets of a TV show and fell in love. They got married in 2009 in Jaipur. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Samairra, in 2013.
10 years after their marriage, the couple announced their divorce. Back then, in an interview with Bombay Times, Sacchin had said that the divorce happened with mutual consent. "Unfortunately, and by Juhi’s own public admission, she was never in love with me. One-sided relationships are doomed from the beginning. It’s said, 'It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all'. But the fact is that it hurts to have been in a loveless marriage. Nothing I did could make Juhi love me," he said.
Sacchin's journey in entertainment industry
In September 2022, Sacchin replaced Shailesh Lodha to play the role of Taarak Mehta in TMKOC. Last year, he was also seen in films like Dasvi and Double XL.
He has been a part of the entertainment industry for over two decades and appeared in shows like Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Balika Vadhu, Santoshi Maa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and several others.
