Senior members of India's white-ball team are likely to be rested for the limited over series against the West Indies later this month, according to report.
India are scheduled to play three ODIs and five T20Is starting from July 22 to August 7 in the Caribbean and the USA.
According to a report in Cricbuzz, list of players to be rested is yet to be finalised. BCCI is set to announce the squad but it has been delayed as the national selectors are yet to take a decision on the rest issue.
Selection committee chairman Chetan Sharma, who is in England with the team, may speak with the senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant among others after the final day of the Edgbaston Test.
Meanwhile, former Indian batsman VVS Laxman is likely to coach the Indian team in the opening T20I against England in Southampton, as per sources.
Laxman, who is currently the chief of the National Cricket Academy (NCA), accompanied Team India as its coach during its two T20I match series against Ireland, in which two matches were played on July 26 and July 28.
