Reigning champions Otters Rockets, seeking to win their third successive title, continued to march ahead as they soared past NSCI ‘A’ by charging to a 3-0, in the round of 32 match of the Billiards & Snooker Association of Maharashtra organised Otters-BSAM Mumbai Snooker League, at the Otters Club billiards room.

Mumbai: Reigning champions Otters Rockets, seeking to win their third successive title, continued to march ahead as they soared past NSCI ‘A’ by charging to a 3-0, in the round of 32 match of the Billiards & Snooker Association of Maharashtra organised Otters-BSAM Mumbai Snooker League, at the Otters Club billiards room. Otters Club’s reliable cueists, Abhimanyu Gandhi, Rishabh Thakkar and the doubles combo of Nabil Lakdawala and Zenul Arsiwala, all played to their potential and once again produced impressive winning performances as they breezed to a quick victory and a berth in the pre-quarter-finals.

Tata Power SC scored a hard-fought 3-2 win against a spirited Dadar XI FC ‘A’ in a I Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League, at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Friday. In an absorbing battle for supremacy, Tata Power scored through Princee Rathod, Jay Bagade and Avadhoot Likhite,, while Dadar XI scored through Joiton Fernandes and Vishwanath Karandikar.
