New Delhi : The Thyagraj Indoor stadium hoped that their home team’s fortunes would change, however voracious crowd support and a busy dugout unfortunately did not help the Red and Blue’s cause who ended their evening at home with a nine point defeat against Abhishek Bachchan’s Pink Panthers, 31-40.
The game started off hot, with Jaipur’s Jasvir Singh scoring 4 points in the first 4 minutes of the game and Dabang Delhi’s Amit Singh responding with a Do Or Die raid coming within inches of redemption but was held down by Jaipur’s Pink Panthers. Kashiling Adake followed Amit’s lead into the opposition half but is brought down by the strong defence of Jaipur to close scores in the second half 11-21 in favor of the Panthers.
The second-half started with Delhi sending in their captain Jasmir Singh in an attempt at making amends, while he earns a single point in his raid, his success provides morale boost that Delhi was looking for.
