Mumbai : Mary Immaculate, Borivali registered crucial wins in Pool B to qualify for the girls’ under-16 semi-finals, in the 2nd Don Bosco Inter School Basketball Championship on Wednesday. Mary Immaculate prevailed over St. Anthony’s, Chembur 19-8 to top the pool, while Anthony’s finished second. Earlier Mary Immaculate beat Divine Child, Andheri 24-10. Tanisha top-scored for the winners in both matches, scoring seven against St. Anthony’s and 10 against Divine Child. In the semi-finals, Mary Immaculate will take on P.G. Garodia, while Anthony’s will face Bombay Scottish, Mahim. In Pool A, Vibgyor, who lost their first two matches, registered their first win when they beat Shishuvan 28-10. Vedikar Sud top-scored with 10, while Tvisha Gala scored eight.
